Comedy!
3rd-4th grade, June 23-30

In this class young actors will learn how to make the funny! We will explore the art of comedy on the stage. How do timing, delivery, and other ingredients combine to get the audience roaring with laughter? Word play, puns, slapstick, and beyond will be mastered and utilized in creating original short skits and vignettes to be performed for the parents at the end of the week. Silly walks not required, but highly encouraged!

Broadway’s Finest
5th-6th grade, August 7-11

Taking a tour through some of the best songs from modern Broadway. Young actors in this class will enjoy direct vocal instruction from one of the area’s top voice teachers. Students will learn songs and, through guided collaboration, develop their own choreography to creat a showcase performance for parents. Songs from Matilda, Waitress, Dear Evan Hansen, and more!

Staging, singing, and dance rehearsals rotate throughout the day with breaks and outdoor time (weather permitting) to keep the material fresh and fun. All experience levels are welcome and no one will be cut from the show!
