Looking for a show the whole family can enjoy?

Join Us for Montgomery Theater, Too!

Montgomery Theater, Too is a unique program that offers young people ages 7-18 the opportunity to audition for and be cast in professional, family-friendly, world-premier children’s theatrical productions.

The experience offers a number of unique learning opportunities. Not only do participants work as a team with adult actors to build a production from the ground up, but they experience the collaboration of directors, writers and actors during an actual play development process.

It also serves the industry by offering a venue for burgeoning playwrights from the Philadelphia area to have their work produced, and contributes to the available family-friendly plays. The magic of this partnership is that all participants, young and old, experienced or not, work together to deliver a polished, professional product.

Singing in the Rain, JR.

Based on the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Inc.
Performed by student actors

The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" has hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hit-parade score of Hollywood standards. Singin' in the Rain JR. has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline — the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but things aren't always as they appear. Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Ichabod Crane, a lightly goofy schoolmaster, comes to Sleepy Hollow looking for a good life and a wealthy wife. Once he sets eyes on Katrina Van Tassel, he’s sure his dream will come true. Unfortunately, Katrina has a boyfriend who’s extremely jealous. To complicate matters the graveyard is haunted by restless spirits, including the famous Headless Horseman. At a party, Ichabod proposes marriage to Katrina, but is booted out and forced to make his way home through a terrible storm. In the dark, there’s something shadowy and towering intent on taking Ichabod’s life — the Headless Horseman!
