We are disappointed to report that with everyone's health and safety in mind, we have cancelled all performances through August of 2020.
We are also postponing our gala, previously scheduled for April 30. Stay tuned for a new date, which will be decided on over the coming months.
Our box office will be working hard during this time to help you with your exchanges or to facilitate your donating your tickets back to the Theater. If you have tickets to any cancelled productions, rest assured that our box office staff will do its very best to contact you as soon as possible. As you can imagine, these cancellations are putting an enormous strain on our organization. You can help us by donating your tickets back to the theater instead of requesting a refund.
Our in-person box office is closed until further notice, and all phone calls will be sent to voicemail. Your voicemails and emails will be returned promptly.
It's no great surprise that live theater and social distancing just don't mix. While technology can help us stay connected in many ways, what we love about theater is that it brings us all into a room together - the definition of what we are all trying to avoid right now.
All of us here at Montgomery Theater are deeply saddened to have to close down our production and other activities. We are hopeful that with enough of our community members making these same hard decisions, we will be back up and running soon.
If you have any questions or concerns, or wish to make an exchange, please feel free to call our box office staff at (215)723-9984 or email Alice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are excited for the events that we have coming up this summer, and we look forward to seeing you at the Theater!
