A middle-aged confirmed bachelor rents a room in a comfortable old house for the summer. He’s a high school English teacher taking courses towards a master’s degree who needs the room to sleep, study, and occasionally tutor college students. During his short stay, he encounters multiple absurdities presented by the offbeat elderly woman from whom he leases the space. Through the process, he falls in love with a young blind girl ignoring the objections of her overprotective grandmother, his landlady. The interaction between this trio takes the audience on a roller coaster of emotions, from heart-wrenching tragedy to fall-down-in-the-aisle guffaws. Boney Kern is funny and sentimental, with a bit of old fashion charm and just enough zaniness to amuse even the skeptical. Tickets: $12 - $24

Don is the tough, blue-collar, win-at-all-costs, veteran Little League coach whose son is a star pitcher. Michael is a newcomer both to the town and to baseball. He's a corporate executive who agrees to be Don's assistant because he wants a special activity with his son, who's never played baseball before. Out of their conflicting philosophies, the real issues of the play emerge: how should we raise our children? Since we live in such a ferociously competitive society, do we protect our children as long as possible? Or do we prepare them to be tough enough to win? The audience is the stand-in for the team, so the coaches speak directly to the audience about competition, character, punctuality, and of course, the importance of wearing the right equipment. Tickets: $12 - $24

Richard Sherman roams restlessly around his empty Manhattan apartment, bemoaning the fact that his wife of seven years, and their son are away. Richard resolves not to carouse and philander like other men reveling in temporary bachelorhood. Without warning, a flower pot tumbles down from an overhead balcony, nearly putting him permanently out of his misery. The jarring event has a strange effect on Richard, threatening his resolve, as the presence of an intriguing upstairs neighbor unwittingly fans the flames of his already active fantasy life. Morality and guilt sneak into his conscience and a soul-struggle of heroic and hilarious proportions ensues. An American comedy classic best know for its film adaptation by Billy Wilder starring Marilyn Monroe. Tickets: $12 - $24
